- We keep a sturdy brush and a few rags near the entry from the garage to clean off the wheelechair wheels.
- We have large heavy duty mats outside the front door and in the garage at the back entry to keep as much dirt off our floors.
- We installed plexiglass squares (1' x 1') on the lower part of the wall near the elevator door to protect the wall from dings from the wheelchair footrests.
- Our water heater temperature is not set too high since Chris has limited sensation in his lower extremities and could easily scald himself in the tub.
